About CamCamp
CamCamp is a Bay Area-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to developing young athletes through sports, mentorship, community involvement, and character education. Recognized as a tax-exempt public charity since April 2015, CamCamp uses athletics—particularly youth football—as a platform to teach discipline, teamwork, confidence, accountability, respect, and leadership. The organization's goal is to create a positive and inclusive environment where young people can grow both as athletes and as individuals.
Led by longtime youth coach Jonathan Leaupepe, widely known throughout the community as "Coach Cam," CamCamp has established a strong grassroots presence throughout the Bay Area. For more than a decade, the organization has provided football camps, athletic training, competitive teams, tournaments, mentorship, and opportunities for young athletes to showcase their abilities. CamCamp's activities have included summer programming, Bay Area all-star teams, 7-on-7 football, youth tackle and flag football programs, and the Samoa vs. Tonga Youth Football Tournament—an event designed to celebrate athletes, families, community, and Polynesian culture.
CamCamp's mission extends beyond the football field. The organization has conducted annual holiday toy drives and other community-giving efforts to support children and families throughout the Bay Area. These programs reflect CamCamp's belief that coaching is about more than developing athletic talent—it is about teaching with love, providing positive role models, creating opportunities, and helping young people understand the importance of giving back.
Cam Camp Player of the Year is a nationwide fan-voting platform built to celebrate youth football talent. Parents and coaches nominate athletes from tackle divisions (8u through 14u and High School) as well as Girls & Boys Flag Football divisions, sharing each player's stats, achievements, and action photos. Once a nomination is approved, fans across the country can vote for their favorite athletes every single day, with additional votes available through donations that directly support charitable causes.
The app is built for three groups: young athletes and their families who want national recognition for their hard work on the field, coaches and communities who want to champion their players, and fans and supporters who want an easy way to cheer on their favorite athletes while contributing to a good cause. The top five vote-getters in each age group and position become finalists, and those finalists are invited to compete on-field at the Las Vegas Championship Event, where one champion is crowned per division.
This platform is built and operated by Ovrall99 Management, Corp, a professional sports management firm, on behalf of CamCamp, a United States 501(c)(3) public charity. A percentage of all donations raised through the voting platform support CamCamp and its partner charities, Work It Well Project and Kedu Africa, which serve youth empowerment and development programs in their communities.
